Perry’s Place Records & Supplies was started as the Listening Post in 1966 and operated out of Florida for many years before moving to Kentucky in 1994. The move was to be more centrally located for workshops and conventions and be closer to families in Indiana and Michigan. We are located in Nicholasville, KY in the beautiful bluegrass region of central Kentucky, just 15 miles off I-75.

Perry’s Place has grown into one of the leading suppliers of country western, clogging, square dancing, round dancing, contra dancing and jukebox music & supplies in the world. With over 500,000 records, tapes and cd’s in stock to serve you, we probably have what you're looking for. Variable speed phono amplifiers, cassette and CD players are available as well as wireless and corded microphones, and other equipment for callers, cuers, instructors and dancers.

Shoes and boots are in stock ready for immediate shipment. Your choice of taps can be installed. Perry and Loretta are familiar with the various dance forms as dancers and former instructors themselves. We can help you make informed decisions about your needs or purchases.

Your orders are normally shipped the same day as received. Sometimes we get a little behind because of conventions, workshops or some rare occasion here or there but you’ll find we provide a fast reliable service. PayPal payment, checks or money orders are accepted.

Shop hours at 138-B Imperial Way are “if we’re here, we’re open.” We’re here most of the time unless we are at a convention or workshop. Just call to make sure we haven’t stepped out someplace.
